Students will receive homework every Monday along with 10 vocabulary words. They will be asked to do different assignments with their vocabulary words each week.  These words are in their interactive notebooks, these notebooks should go home with the students each night. These are both due on Thursday. We have a quiz every Friday on the Vocabulary words. We are moving into Main Idea and Summarizing with the class.

Important Dates/Events at Vogel
3/25 Saturday tutoring from 8:30-11:30 for students that signed up.

Student access code for Scholastic  JYY2X to order online.

Please check your child's flexifolder daily and take out papers that are graded.  I suggest keeping all graded papers in a box until the end of the nine weeks.  If an issue comes up or a grade is missing, you can look back and see if you have it.  It is also a good review.

Students should be reading at least 20 minutes per day at home.
